However, after purchasing and installing aluminum radiators, the trouble to consider comes. Impurities in the radiators are inevitable, which makes many users headache. So how to solve this problem? First of all, we need to know the cause of the formation of impurities in the aluminum radiator. Due to the existence of air holes and shrinkage holes in the aluminum radiator, the surface treatment of the die casting is very troublesome. The holes may be filled with water, and the gas in the holes will be heated and expanded, or the water in the holes will turn into steam, and the volume will expand, resulting in blistering on the surface of the casting. The problem of impurities is normal and unavoidable. How can we solve it after the production of impurities?

1. the key is to reduce the amount of gas mixed in the casting. The ideal alloy flow should be accelerated from the nozzle to the mold cavity through the shunting cone and sprue to form a smooth and consistent metal flow (the conical runner design is adopted, that is, the pouring flow should be accelerated and gradually reduced from the nozzle to the sprue to achieve the ideal metal flow).

2. in the filling system, the mixed gas is mixed by turbulence and metal liquid to form pores. It can be seen from the study of the simulated die casting process that the metal liquid enters the mold cavity from the casting system that the sharp transition position in the sprue and the increasing sprue cross-sectional area will make the metal liquid flow out of the turbulence and entrain gas, and the stable metal liquid is conducive to the gas entering the overflow groove and exhaust groove from the sprue and mold cavity and discharging out of the mold.

3. the new ceramic filter material is used instead of the secondary nozzle material to reduce impurities. The aluminum radiator shall be cooled evenly at all positions during the die casting solidification process and solidified at the same time. Shrinkage cavity can be avoided through reasonable nozzle design, inner gate thickness and position, mold design, mold temperature control and cooling.
